Démonière was born in Guadeloupe, on 28 June 1910. During her life, she worked as a tradeswoman. She had at least one daughter, Iréné Régina. She was nicknamed “Man ninie” by her relatives.
Démonière passed away in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, on 5 September 2020, at the age of 110 years, 69 days.
