The anonymous lady was born in North Carolina on 4 January 1906. She passed away in Maryland, on 30 June 2017, at the age of 111 years, 177 days.

RECOGNITION

On 16 February 2016, following the passing of 113-year-old Helen Wheat, she became the oldest (known) living person in the U.S. state of Maryland. She held the title until her own passing in June 2017, when she was succeeded by Agnes Reisenweber.
