BIOGRAPHY

Narcisa Ruiz Lebrón was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, on 29 October 1915. In 1935, she married Daniel Martínez Pagán, and the couple had 15 or 16 children. She was a farmer, and the family resided in a small house with just one bedroom.

At the age of 107, she had 52 grandchildren, more than 90 great-grandchildren, and more than 40 great-great-grandchildren.
