Marie-Angèle Cosaque was a French supercentenarian from the overseas department of Guadeloupe.

BIOGRAPHY

Cosaque was born in Guadeloupe on 27 May 1913. According to Cosaque’s family, there was a dispute over the correct rendering of her name, as errors may have been made in official documentation.

Marie-Angèle Cosaque passed away in Gourbeyre, Guadeloupe, at the age of 110 years, 278 days.

RECOGNITION

Cosaque was not known to researchers until an article was published congratulating her on attaining supercentenarian status.

At the time of her passing, she was the second-oldest living person in Guadeloupe, following Émilienne Bécarmin.
