BIOGRAPHY
Leonora Cuenca was born in Lambunao, Iloilo, Philippines, on 22 February 1916 (claimed 16 February).
In September 2024, the Local Government Unit of Sto. Niño recognized two centenarians in honor of their longevity during the celebration of Elderly Day. Along with Leonora, aged 108, they also recognized Restituta N. Hernaiz, aged 106. Both were presented with certificates of appreciation.
On 1 March 2026, at the age of 110, she was visited by personnel from the Sto. Niño Municipal Police Station as part of the celebration of National Women’s Month.
Leonora Cuenca passed away in a rural barangay of San Vicente in the municipality of Santo Niño in the province of South Cotabato, Philippines, on 9 April 2026, at the age of 110 years, 46 days.
