Guillermo Pompa Berumen is a Mexican semi-supercentenarian.
BIOGRAPHY
Guillermo Pompa Berumen was born on 22 August 1918 in León, Guanajuato, Mexico.
In his youth, he played baseball in the main park with his siblings and friends. He remembers a León that was prosperous in terms of food—where food was cheap and households raised their own animals.
In 1951, he married Emelia Herrera Vera, with whom he had eight children. He attributes his long life to leading a calm lifestyle, seeking balance, eating well, and knowing how to control his character and bad habits. He likes drawing and painting and maintains his fervent desire to live and drinks a glass of red wine every day during lunch.
He currently lives in León, Guanajuato, Mexico.
