Tome Nakada (Japanese: 中田トメ) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.
BIOGRAPHY
Tome Nakada (中田トメ) was born in Japan on 20 August 1915.
After graduating from elementary school, she worked in weaving for many years.
According to a report by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW), at the age of 109, she was living at home and enjoyed watching television every day, particularly period dramas and sports broadcasts. She was not a picky eater, and her favorite foods were simmered daikon radish and tofu. She also managed her own medication.
She passed away of old age in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, on 11 August 2026, at the age of 110 years and 356 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in Ishikawa Prefecture.
