Adolfo Camacho Ripoll was a Colombian supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest. He was the nation’s oldest known living man at the time of his death.
Adolfo Camacho Ripoll was born in Santa Catalina, Bolívar, Colombia, on 13 April 1915. He was the eldest son of Isaac Camacho and Aminta Ripoll. He had 14 children with three wives.
As a young man, he worked in agriculture at his father’s sugar mill. Later, he was a teacher, politician, public servant, and finally a warehouse worker, from which he retired. He founded the Los Caracoles neighborhood in Cartagena, demonstrating his commitment to community building.
He was known as a principled, respectful, elegant man with traditional values. He enjoyed activities such as dominoes, baseball, and boxing, and was devoted to Our Lady of Santa Catalina.
At the time of his death, he also left behind long-lived siblings, including Ernesto, who was 106 years old, and 11 children survived him, along with numerous descendants.
Camacho Ripoll passed away on 23 December 2025 in Cartagena, Bolívar Department, Colombia, at the age of 110.
