BIOGRAPHY
Martina Roelofsma was born in Landshut, Bavaria, German Empire (now Germany), on 22 September 1883. She moved to the United States in 1905 and married Dutch immigrant Kornelius Roelofsma in 1907. They had one daughter Edith (1907-1931).
She and her husband Kornelius lived in Groningen, The Netherlands, until 1920, when they returned to the United States.
At some point, she moved back to Germany. She passed away on 21 March 1994 in Munich, Germany, at the age of 110 years, 180 days.
