BIOGRAPHY
Grazia Carbonaro was born in Scicli, Sicily, Italy, on 5 April 1899.
At the age of 109, she was honored with the Civic Merit Award, presented by President Giovanni Avanti at the Palazzo Comitini Administration.
Grazia Carbonaro passed away in Palermo, Sicily, on 20 September 2009, at the age of 110 years, 168 days.
RECOGNITION
Her age was validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 27 August 2025.
