Bartolomea (Lina) De Marie was an Italian supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Bartolomea De Marie was born in Cimbergo, Lombardy, Italy, on 3 March 1904. She was educated at the boarding school of the Dorothean Sisters of Cemmo, where she studied from 1917 to 1925—the year she began her teaching career at Novelle di Sellero. Her long professional journey continued in Grano di Vezza D’Oglio, then in Odecla di Malanno, and ultimately in Cividate, where she spent 33 years until her retirement. In total, she dedicated 45 years to teaching in elementary schools, earning a gold medal for her outstanding service and merit from the highest educational authorities.

Bartolomea De Marie passed away in Cimbergo, on 13 December 2014, at the age of 110 years, 285 days.
