Marie Amélie Ernestine Geneviève Le Tourneau (née Barbe) was a French supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Geneviève Le Tourneau was born in the commune of Crest in the Drôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, on 25 September 1908. On 2 April 1934, at the age of 25, she married Antoine Jean Jacques Le Tourneau (1908–1999), and the couple had seven children. She was widowed at the age of 90, on 27 February 1999.

Geneviève Le Tourneau passed away in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, on 28 November 2018, at the age of 110 years, 64 days.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by the Les Grands Centenaires Français, and validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 10 January 2024. This validation is yet to be recognized by LongeviQuest.
