Michino Takenaka (竹中道野) was born in Japan on June 22, 1901.
In December 2010, she became the oldest living person in Shimane Prefecture.
On March 4, 2012, Takenaka passed away in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, at the age of 110 years and 256 days.
Following her death, Kitsuy0 Yamamoto of Izumo took her place.
RECOGNITION
Her age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group on 17 November 2011 and later recognized by LongeviQuest.
