Kesa Eiei [Japanese: 永榮ケサ] was a Japanese supercentenarian.
Kesa Eiei (永栄ケサ) was born in Japan on March 25, 1896.
In her later years, she lived in a special nursing home in Minami-Osumi, Kagoshima Prefecture. Although she used a wheelchair, she was known for being independent and particular about doing everything by herself. She loved roasted soybean flour (kinako) and would always sprinkle it on her staple foods, such as rice and bread.
Eiei passed away from natural causes in Kagoshima Prefecture on June 19, 2007, at the age of 111 years and 86 days.
Her age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group on 7 December 2006 and later recognized by LongeviQuest.
