Tsuya Takada (Japanese: 高田つや) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.
Tsuya Takada (高田つや) was born in what is now Oyabe City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan, on 3 March 1901, and was raised there. After her marriage, she moved to Obihiro City, Hokkaido, Japan, where she and her husband Seiichi, the second president of Takada Kikujiro Shoten, raised three sons and two daughters. The family business began as a hardware store and later expanded into a shop dealing with confectionery ingredients such as sugar, flour, and other materials. Throughout these transitions, Tsuya supported her husband, the second-generation president, steadfastly from behind the scenes.
By September 2010, she was 109 years old and recognized as the second-oldest woman in Hokkaido Prefecture. Tsuya Takada passed away in Obihiro City, Hokkaido, Japan, on 28 May 2011, at the age of 110 years and 86 days, due to natural causes.
