Anna Eugénie Marie Lepetit (née Douesnard) was a French supercentenarian.
BIOGRAPHY
Anna Lepetit was born as Anna Douesnard in Varouville in the Manche department in Normandy, France, on 2 October 1914. At a young age, she experienced the loss of her mother and subsequently assumed the responsibility of caring for her siblings. Following her marriage, she had four children (including a set of twins). In 1943, she was evacuated by train to Loiret. She later lived in Octeville, where her husband worked as a cabinetmaker. She raised her family with simplicity and frugality.
Upon reaching the age of 100, she entered a nursing home after suffering a fall at her home. At 108, she was in excellent health, aside from a hearing problem.
Anna Lepetit passed away in Martinvast, Manche, Normandy, France, on 3 February 2025, at the age of 110 years, 124 days.
