Aurélie Boucher (Sister Candide) was a Canadian nun and supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Aurélie Boucher was born in Causapscal, Quebec, Canada, on 29 August 1912, to parents Joseph Boucher and Célanire Poirier (1887–1969). She had seven siblings: Corinne Ouellet (1905–2007), Oscar Boucher (1907–1984), Léon Bernard (1909–1991), Alphonse-Leopold Boucher (born 1915), Marie-Ange Thibault (born 1917), Leo-Paul Boucher (1919–2011), and Simonne Verreault (born 1921). Her older sister, Corinne, died in October 2007, aged 102.

Sister Candide passed away at Maison Bon-Pasteur in Quebec City, on 11 May 2023, at the age of 110 years, 255 days.
