Esperanza Mendoza Hermosillo was born in Veracruz, Mexico, on 9 August 1909. Her parents were Arturo and Sara del Carmen.
At some point, she married Pedro Huerta.
When asked about the secret of her longevity, she attributed it to her good temper and balanced diet.
Mendoza Hermosillo died in Mexico City, Mexico, on 21 April 2022, at the age of 112 years, 255 days.
RECOGNITION
Her age was verified by Stefan Maglov, Jeffrey Xu and Fabrizio Villatoro, and validated by the LAS on 22 April 2022.
