BIOGRAPHY

Alice Woolley was born in Mitcham, London, England, UK, on 1 July 1883. In her youth, she moved to Canada and worked on her brother’s farm in the Prairies before marrying and settling in Winnipeg. Her husband, Albert M. Woolley, died in 1950. After retiring to Victoria in 1957, she became active in church activities.

By her 100th birthday, she was a patient at Aberdeen Hospital. To celebrate, she went out with two close friends.
