Cryer was born in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, England, on 25 November 1913.
RECOGNITION
On 13 March 2023, following the passing of Ada Thompson, she became the oldest (known) living person in West Yorkshire.
Her age was verified by Dr. Andrew Holmes and Rob Campbell, and validated by the ESO on 3 August 2024.
