Gendronneau was in the commune of Villefagnan in Charente departement, Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, France, on 18 August 1910.
On 12 February 1934, she married Guy Gendronneau (1913–1973), a farmer. The couple spent most of their lives working on their farm in Bernac, where they had four children.
Until 2015, she lived independently with her youngest daughter. After that, she moved to the Ruffec nursing home, where she spent the rest of her life. Even with hearing and vision issues, she celebrated her 110th birthday with two of her daughters.
Gendronneau passed away in Ruffec, Charente, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, on 8 January 2022, at the age of 111 years, 143 days. She was survived by her two daughters, eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
At the time of her passing, she was the oldest living person in Charente department. She was succeeded by Solange Demorgny. She was also the second-oldest living person in the region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, following Juliette Bildé.
Her age was verified by Cyril Depoudent from the Les Grands Centenaires Français, and validated by the ESO on 8 December 2021.
