BIOGRAPHY

Glato was born in the district of Pfalzdorf in the city of Aurich, Lower Saxony, Germany, on 26 December 1908.

At some point, she married and went on to have three children: a daughter Anneliese (married Pohl) and two sons, Herbert and Karl.

At the age of 108, she had four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Glato passed away in Pfalzdorf, Aurich, Lower Saxony, Germany, on 31 December 2019, at the age of 111 years, 5 days.

RECOGNITION

At the time of her passing, she was the third-oldest (known) living person in Lower Saxony, after Gertrud Teichgraber and Gertrud Grutza.
