María Mendoza Sánchez

BIOGRAPHY

Mendoza Sánchez was born in Mexico on 9 May 1912.

She never married. Her first partner died in 1930. She then had children with her second partner.

When she was young she worked on farms feeding the workers, then she moved to another city where she worked for many years cleaning rooms. She never voted.

She always remained healthy and rarely had a discomfort or illness. Mendoza Sánchez died on 25 November 2023 in Mexico at the age of 111 years and 200 days.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by Stefan Maglov and Fabrizio Villatoro, and listed as a pending validation by the LAS as of 3 June 2022.
