LongeviQuest is delighted to announce the age validation of Yoshi Terai at 111 years old. She was a Japanese supercentenarian known as the former oldest person ever from Tottori Prefecture.

Yoshi Terai was born in Japan on 9 January 1880.

On 13 November 1983, she became the oldest living person in Tottori Prefecture at the age of 103 years old. Three years later, she surpassed the final age of Haru Abe (1875-1981) to become the oldest person ever from the prefecture. She held the record for more than three decades until Toshie Yasuda surpassed her final age on 13 February 2020.

Yoshi Terai passed away on 22 April 1991 in Nawa, Daisen City, Tottori Prefecture, due to heart failure.

LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Fumiko Tsubaki of Japan. She was born in Japan on 1 January 1908.

On 19 April 2017, following the death of 109-year-old Hanako Sugimoto of Kurayoshi, she became the oldest living person in Tottori Prefecture.

Tsubaki passed away in Kurayoshi, Tottori Prefecture, Japan on 17 December 2018 at the age of 110. Upon her death, Toshiko Hayashibara became the oldest living person in Tottori Prefecture.

LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Toshie Yasuda of Japan. She was born in Japan on 1 November 1908 and passed away in Kurayoshi, Tottori Prefecture, Japan, on 26 March 2020, at the age of 111 years, 146 days.

On 21 June 2019, Yasuda became the oldest living person in Tottori Prefecture at 110, following the death of 111-year-old Toshiko Hayashibara of Daisen.

On 13 February 2020, at the age of 111 years, 104 days, she surpassed the age of Yoshi Terai. Thus becoming the oldest person ever in Tottori. She held the title until November 2020, when her age was surpassed by Natsuko Sakai.

LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Toshiko Hayashibara of Japan at age 111. She was born in  Japan on 30 March 1908.

At 100 years old, she was still active and engaged in her community. She attended every event at the community center and exercised for 30 minutes every day to keep her body and mind strong. She even took up dancing as a hobby at the age of 75 and was still able to read newspapers at the age of 109.

Toshiko Hayashibara passed away in Daisen, Tottori Prefecture, Japan, on 21 June 2019, at the age of 111. At the time of death, she was the oldest living person in Tottori Prefecture.
