LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Sakae Fujii of Japan at age 111. She was born in Japan on 30 March 1910.

By the time she became a centenarian, she had moved into a nursing home. In September 2010, she was visited by the Mayor of Masuda for being 100 years old.

Fujii passed away in Hikimi-cho, Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, on 15 June 2021, at the age of 111 years, 77 days. In September 2018, she was reported as the oldest living person in Shimane Prefecture. Upon her death, 110-year-old Fumi Fujiwara became the oldest living person in the Prefecture.

LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Fujino Kuroda of Japan. She was born in Japan on 2 June 1904 and passed away in Ōnan, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, on 3 November 2015, at the age of 111.

On 9 March 2015, following the death of 112-year-old Kitsuyo Yamamoto, she became the oldest living person in Shimane Prefecture.

LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Kameno Katō of Japan at age 111. She was born in Japan on 20 February 1906.

In September 2005, she was honored by the town of Hikawa as one of their few residents about to turn 100 years old. Katō was then featured in the Hikawa town public relations paper.

On 28 February 2017, following the death of Yoshiko Araki, she became the oldest living person in Shimane Prefecture.

She passed away in Hikawa District, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, on 21 July 2017. At the time of death, she was the oldest living person in Shimane Prefecture.
