LongeviQuest is delighted to announce that Italy’s oldest known living man turned 111 years old. His age has been validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO).

Tripolino Giannini is an Italian supercentenarian born on 20 August 1912 in Cecina, Tuscany, Italy. He has two sons, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. In 1929, he participated in the first race of the Targa Cecina, finishing fourth. He served as a Bersaglieri.
On 26 November 2021, following the death of 109-year-old Giuseppe Venturi, he became the oldest known living man in Italy.
On 1 June 2022, following the death of 112-year-old Delio Venturotti of Brazil, he became the oldest known living Italian-born man.
