Kathleen Letitia Shaw (née Wright) was a British supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO).

Biography

Shaw was born in Hanwell, London, England, UK, on 4 August 1913. At some point, she moved to Surrey to become a secretary for the board of London Buses.

When asked about the secret of her longevity and healthy life, she replied: “eating broccoli and carrots.”

On her 109th birthday, she was reported as the third-oldest living person in Surrey, behind Ethel Caterham and Rose Eaton.
