Yoshi Kobayashi [Japanese: 小林よし] was a Japanese supercentenarian who was the oldest living person in Saitama Prefecture at the time of her death.
Yoshi Kobayashi (小林よし) was born in Japan on September 2, 1898.
On January 12, 2009, following the death of Takashi Hattori of Iruma City at the age of 110, Kobayashi became the oldest living person in Saitama Prefecture.
On July 4, 2009, she passed away in Sakado City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan, at the age of 110 years and 305 days. After her death, Shike Satō of Kawaguchi City succeeded her as the prefecture’s oldest living person.
Her age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group on 20 October 2008 and later recognized by LongeviQuest.
