BIOGRAPHY

Thérèse Beau was born in the commune of Melun in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region, on 15 August 1908. Her parents were Alphonse Victor Moreau (1879–1975) and Marguerite Jeanne Mercier (1882–1949). Her younger brother, Marcel Pierre Moreauné (19 September 1914 – 30 August 2018), lived to be 103 years, 345 days old.

Thérèse Beau passed away in the commune of Bondoufle in the Essonne department in Île-de-France, on 29 March 2019, at the age of 110 years, 226 days.

RECOGNITION

Beau’s age has been validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 10 January 2024. The validation has not yet been recognized by LongeviQuest.
