Shige Kitagawa (北川繁) was born in Japan on April 15, 1903.
She passed away on September 13, 2014, at the age of 111 years and 151 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in Shiga Prefecture. After her passing, the title of the oldest living person in the prefecture was succeeded by Mina Kitagawa.
RECOGNITION
Her age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group on 10 July 2014 and later recognized by LongeviQuest.
