Maria Piedad Viana Fernandez was a Spanish supercentenarian.
BIOGRAPHY
Maria Piedad Viana Fernandez was born on 4 June 1915. She married Manuel Río Pérez, and together they had three children: Armando and José, both of whom she outlived, and Segunda.
She enjoyed good health well into her centenarian years, remaining active and engaged in her community until she entered a nursing home. Even at the age of 102 or 103, she was doing very well, regularly attending meals and parish festivals.
Maria Piedad Viana Fernandez passed away in the parish of Santa Cruz de Ribadulla in the municipality of Vedra, in the province of La Coruña, Galicia, on 30 April 2026, at the age of 110 years, 330 days.
