After her husband passed away, she lived on her own until the age of 108. Throughout her life, she maintained remarkable independence, and even at 110, she preferred to do everything herself. She attributed her longevity to a healthy diet and a positive outlook. Although she enjoyed a variety of foods, one of her favorites was Lou Malnati’s pizza, which she chose to celebrate her 110th birthday.
