Dagny Mariana Olsson is a Swedish supercentenarian whose age is currently under review.
BIOGRAPHY
Dagny Mariana Wikström was born in Brattbäcken, Tåsjö, Sweden on 14 May 1916 to parents Hans Wikström and Anna Hellström. Dagny came from a large family and had ten siblings, several of whom died from tuberculosis in childhood and all preceded her in death. Dagny also developed tuberculosis but survived.
She trained to be a nurse at a mental hospital, and later became head nurse at Umedalen hospital. She married Karl Staffan Olsson in April 1952 and had one daughter, Eva Maria “Mia”, in 1957. Dagny Olsson lived in several places in Sweden throughout her life but currently lives in Umeå.
