Ayako Kyōtani (Japanese: 京谷綾子) is a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest. She is currently the oldest living person in Kanagawa Prefecture.

BIOGRAPHY
Ayako Kyōtani (京谷綾子) was born in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan, on 29 September 1913. At the age of 19, she married a seaman and went on to have three children.
During the war, she survived incendiary bombings in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Due to her husband’s work, the family moved frequently between port towns before finally settling in Yokohama City around 1952. Until about the age of 95, she traveled to Toyama to teach tea ceremony and flower arrangement.
As of age 111, she lives in Sugeda-chō, Yokohama City, with her eldest son, his wife, and a grandchild—four people in total. At home, she can still walk on her own using a walker. She usually eats the same meals as the rest of the household, with yogurt and prunes being her regular breakfast. When asked about the secret to her longevity, she replied, “Not overdoing things.”
RECOGNITION
In September 2025, Kyōtani was officially recognized as the oldest living person in Kanagawa Prefecture.
