BIOGRAPHY

Hebert was born in Louisiana, United States, on 3 March 1910. She was one of 15 children. Later in life, she moved to Wichita, Kansas. She was a Cajun, and she still spoke French at the age of 107. At some point, she got married and had at least one daughter, Dorothy.

Her distant cousin, Ida Vincent (1880–1990), lived to be 110 years, 68 days old. Their shared ancestor was Jean Baptiste Duon dit Lyonnaise (1684–1746).

Hebert passed away in Wichita on 21 June 2020, at the age of 110 years, 110 days. At the time of her passing, she had great-great-grandchildren.

RECOGNITION

At the time of her passing, she was the second-oldest (known) living person in the U.S. state of Kansas, after Gertrude Stern, who was a few days older.

Her age has not been validated.
